Jones spoke on the financial aspect of the business, and snowed that though the security on the loan was on the capital value of the district as the first year s interest as sinking fund was paid out of the loan itself, it would only be necessary to collect a rate of 1 3-4 d in 1922, and that rate would constantly dimintsh as the district progressed. Mr. E. D. McLennan stated that he felt sure that the loan was not too big for the district, that the Installation of such a scheme would very mucih increase the values of property. The ratepayers were invited to state their viewß on the scheme, and to ask any questions. At the close of the meeting Mr. J.
