Married Ladies' Race—Mrs* R. McKibbon 1, Mrs. Biddick 2. Guessing Competition (actual live weight of three sheep, A. Allen guessed Crawford 3001bs 2.
From all points of view the meeting was an unqualified success. The gate takings amounted to £2l 10s, and entries and members' subscriptions amounted to £3O 15s. After allowing about £3O for prize money and incidental expenses there will be a substantial credit balance, which augurs well for the success of the athletic club.
