Farewell social and dance to Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Costello.. %
Mi\ J. H. Waters, postmaster, is at present on leave. During his absence Mr. W. E. Gundy will be in charge of the local post office. Mr. and Mrs. A. Grigor and family left by Sunday night's express for Palmerston North. A large number of friends assembled at the railway station to bid them au' revoir.. Matron Walsh, of the Chelvy Private Hospital, New South Wales, is -it present on a visit to her sister, Mrs. Jas. Costello, of "Albury," Pukekohe Hill.
Miss C. M. Webb, M.A., Mus., D.C.L., intimates, in our professional column, that she has arranged for n music studio in Mrs. Richard's residence at the corner of Seddon and Tobin Streets, where she will give pupils tuition, and also at Buckland. Miss Webb, who holds the teachers' diploma (Trinity Col. Mus.) is in every respect fully qualified to instruct, and should be kept fully occupied when the courses commence.
