Sir,—l think " Ardent Reformer's " letter re above timely. Seeing that the Prime Minister has to attend to so many important public affairs it is not possible for him to devote much time to electioneering. I think his supporters should rise to the occasion and do something to counteract the propaganda referred to by your correspondent. The literature that is being spread broadcast, and the oratory of either opponent will not influence the intelligent and thinking elector, but it is the unthinking ones that " Reform " has to reckon with.
