PIANO TUNING

Regular Tuning Ensures Longer Life and Better Tone
A piano is more than a piece of furniture. It likes to be petted and fondled and cared for like a human. And if one's affection for the instrument is genuine, the strings of the piano rau*t be attuned and kept in harmony with one's emotion. A piano has also this in common with a human being, that the foundation of good health and longveity is good habits formed early in life. If a piano forms the good habit of regular tuning from the outset, it will retain its tone all the years of its life.
Every piano is carefully and properly tuned by an expert tuner; but changes of temperature affect the delicate mechanism, so for those reasons it behoves the owner of a new piano to be particular in having the instrument tuned at least twice yearly. We have a staff of expert piano tuners, men selected for their great skill and experience in tuning and who have served their apprenticeship. They visit every part of Auckland. Our fees are 10s 6d for single tunings, or contract tunings twice yearly for 17s 6d. Contract tunings include small repairs and regulating without extra charge. Placed in the hands of our tuners, the life of any good piano is long, and its purity of tone will be maintained. Satisfaction guaranteed. Train up a piano in the way it should go, and when it is an old friend of the family it will be as sound in frame and tone as when you first made its acquaintance. Piano tuning. Repairing. Reconstruction. Rebuilding, Polishing. Prompt service always. The Phoenix Pianoforte Repairing Company, Auckland 129
