Stoppage at Pukekohe Chamber of Commerce Success The following letters are proof that the Pukekohe Chamber of Commerce has lately bees responsible for good work in the interests of the town and district. Both letters are ever the signature of the Rt. Hon W. " With further referent eto your letter of the 9th ult. relative to st'ppuig o! the Main Trunk express tiains at Pukekohe on Sundays I have the hosour to infoim you that arrangements have now been made for l oth the up and down express trains on Sundays to stop at Pukekohe."
At the meeting la.-t night the Chamber expreste.l i'.s gratification with the results of its advocacy. 'Mr F. Perkins remarked that the gratei •hare of the credit for getting the expresses to stop at Pukekohe in tinfirst instance, before the wt-.r, wasdue to Mr Ben Andrew.).
