The officer would not accede to the to have the Papatoetoe service extended, hut promised to reinstate the jire-war service, which .was accepted, he added, under which they would ho very well treated Mr T. J Corin said the prewar service was not adequate for a place like Manurewa. Thoy wanted the Papatoetoe service extended to Manurewa. He moved that tire Board write to the Government, a-id demand that the whole of the Papatoetoe service be extended to Manurewa. Mr G Coxhead seconded the motion, which was carried, the chairman voted against, remarking that he would not go back on his word.
