PERSONAL

Constable A. Johnston who is in charge of the Papakura Police Station, is at present his bed, suffering from a severe attack of sciatica. He is being relieved by Constable Moss of Otahuhu. Mr H Curd, of the firm of Messrs Cooper and Curd, who has been an inmate of the Auckland Hospital, returned to Pukekohe on Sunday. Mrs Ryan, wife of Mr J. Ryan, Licensee of the Papakura Hotel, is indisposed with pneumonia. Although she is making good progress towards recovery, her condition is far from satisfactory.
