Tho writer stated that noxious weeds wore growing luxuriantly on Mr 'a property, right up to tho boundary fence. Tlieso wore a source of danger from lire. Also, a new occupier "a little lady with family of small children" would shortly be taking up their residence in the house near the boundary on the next section. The Council was favourably impressed with the writers kindly forethought, and the clerk was instructed to compel tho owner of the weeds to eradicate them.
