Lyceum Pictures. It can he soid with a reasonable amount of safety that amongst screen artists Madgo Kennedy is well in the front rank of public popularity and to-moirow evening at the Premier Flail, she will he seen in a new Goldwyn production entitled "The Danger Game" In this picture she is supported by Tom Moore. This drama ''s more serious and more emotional than any of Madge's previous plays. It stiike3 a new note, end marks a new and wonderful advance in her art. " The Danger Game" contains plenty of adventure, mystery and thrill, also a fund of humour, it i? a {lictare that will interest all. There a*e other supporting items
Sports' Ball. The Spoics ball, to bd held under the auspices of the l'ukekohe Tennis Club, will take place in the Premier Hall on Thursday next- Elaborate arrangements are being made, and present indications point to the function being tho most successful yet held in Pukekohe. The hall will ho tastefully decorated and tho stage will be designed as a bowery, on the Continental sysem. The supper will be especially dainty The committee is sparing no effort to make the ball an unqualified success. Mr J. G Russell, with a large staff of workers, is directing the entire opiration.
