FOOTBALL. BENEFIT MATCH
Tho Fitness benefit football match, between teams representing Pukekohe and Bombay eventuated on the Parade grounds on Saturday in ideal weather. There was only a fair attendance. Tho Pukekohe eonior team failed to turn out at full strength, but over half tho junior !15 filled the vacancies, and they j acquitted themselves in an admirable i manner. Tho game was fairly oven j throughout., but Bombay, no doubt, had a little advantage towards the concluding' stages. Jim Adams a prominent Pukekohe junior, did all tho scoring. He notched a pretty j try, and afterwards potted a beautil ful goal from tho Hold. The game j ended in ('avoir of the maroons, by I 7 points to nil Mr Joe Reynolds j referred in a capable manner.
