POKENO.

The local School Committee and residents of Pokeno entertained over 100 children on Monday. The entertainment included children's races and other competitions,refreshments and luncheon being provided. At the conclusion of the gathering the children were suitably addressed by the Rev. G.H.Ralph, who also presented the prizes to the winners of the various afternoon's sports. A most successful function closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
