NOTES AND COMMENTS
[By " The Toff."]
Mr R. T. Reid's horse Sir Ralph, has been nominated for some of the principal flat races at the Wellington Racing Club's Steeplechase meeting, Providing he goes on the right way. the old fellow may refund his popular owner some of the money he has expended on him. That good little horse Jack Delaval, owned by Mr F. Stenning, which won many races for his popular owner, recently broke a leg while running on his owner's propertp at Bombay, and had to be destroyed. It was indeed hard luck for Mr Stenning.
