EXCELSIOR LODGE, 1.0.0. F., N.Z.

On Saturday evening last the members of Excelsior Lodge held the first of a series of invitation socials. There was a good attendance of members and lady friends, and a most enjoyable evening was spent. /Bros Luke Wilson and W. Horn acted as M's.C., and the music was very ably supplied by Misses I. Duncan, N. Perkins, and Bro and Mrs Harriman, violin and piano. During the evening Bro Luke Wilson sang two songs, which were very much appreciated by all. Supper was dispensed at 10.30, the last dance beirg concluded just before midnight. The committee are to be congratulated on this first effort to create a closer fraternity among the members or the Lodge and their lady associates
