OTAHUHU.
BUNDAY SCHOOL CONCERT On Thursday evening last the annual prize giving in connection with the Holy Trinity Sunday School took place in the Parish Hall. The Rev H. Mason presided, and the hall was packed to its utmost capacity. The prizes were presented by the vicar, after which he delivered an address. Much amusement was caused by the children's games indulged in after the prize giying. Light refreshments were handed round and the function terminated at 9.30 p.m.
MAKING PROGRESS. There are not s'gns wanting to show that Otahuhu is progressing of late. The offer of the Government to establish a telephone bureau, provided that the local subscribers were sufficient, soon had a willing response. The erection of the posts is progressing with expedition and many people ttre availing themselves of the opportunity of being connec ted by teleoh' ne.
