PAPAKURA.
MAGISTRATE'S OURT A sitting of the Papakura Magistrate's Court was held last week, before Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M. Alfred Thomas Jefferson and Percy Bates, residents of Manurewa, were each convicted and fined 5s and ordered to pay 12s Court costs, for allowing cattle to graze on the public highways. For a similar offence, Thomas Henry Sandford, of Takanini, was fined 10s and ordered to pay 7s Court costs.
Patrick Farrington and John Albert Stanley Slack, of Papakura, were charged with being illegally on licensed premises after hours. A iine of £2, Together with 7s costs, was imposed in each case. For allowing sheep, infected with lice, to be submitted for sale, Duncan Fraser of Clevedon, was ordered to pay H s Court coses.
