"i per cent on account" pai't befor« the "20th of the month fallowing date of order, or the 20th of the month in which the accounts are sent out. This applies to advertising and punting orders, hut not to subscriptions, the booked rates for which are extra. 10 per cent discount on contract advertisements paid for one year or more iu advance; 5 per cent for shorter terms. From the above, it will be seen that it pays to settle accounts piomptly.
