We understand that theie is a movement on foot to establish a Ratepayer*.' Association at Tuakau. The object of tho Association, we believe, is to conserve the ratepayers' interests relative to the spending of the balance of th* £12,000 loan. The executive committee of the Tuakau Patriotic L°ague met on Monday of last week, whon Mr E T Frost presided. The balancesheet of the Rod Cross efforts showed that th« jjro>s takings amounted to £-589 8s 3d. while the
