The Sunday School anniversary was held in the Papakura Methodist Church on Sunday, the 16th inst, followed by a social and priza presentation on the 18th. The Rev. A B. Evans, Sunday Hchool Superintendent, wacalled upon to dedicate a Communion table presented to the Church by Mr and Mrs Linstrom, in memory or thtir only son, a Sunday School scholar. The table is provided with cupboards and is a very handsome and becoming piece of church furniture. A silver plate bears the engraving "In memoriam, "William Raymond Linstrom, May 25th, 1918." Mr Evans in a few touching and appropriate words referred t» the deceased's character. It may be mentioned that the Papakura Methodist Chutch is also embellished by a very fine 801 l of Honour board. Each name is inscribed on a brass plate and a cross is placed agaiust the names of those wno have made the supreme sacrifice.
