FARMERS' FERTILISER COMPANY
A writ containing the names of over 200 farmers, resident in Otsgo and Southland, as plaintiffs, was recently issued a: the Supreme Court, at Wellington, and has been seived upon the New Zealand Farmers' Fertiliser Company, Limited, "f Auckland. Plaiut.ffs allege that they were induced to take shares in the company, as the result of various misrepresentations. The plaintiffs seek to have their contracts rescinded and moneys they have paid returned with interest The extent of the litigation may be judged from the fact that the company has a registered capital of £500,000, and that over 'IOOO farmers in the I > minion, are included in the share register.

Sir,—lt has Ctmn to my knowledge that a employed by the N Z. Farmers' Fertiliser Co. Ltd has been endeavouring to induce people to purchase shares in that company by representing that I am a shareholder, and that I have expressed confidence in the company. lam not. and never have been, a shareholder, and have not at any time said anything calculated to induce anyone to become a shareholder.
I should be glad if any person to whom my name has been used in this manner would at once communicate with me.—fours etc ,
