Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons, Ltd., report: - At Tuakau, on Thursday of last week, there was only a small yarding, with prices the same as oi late. We hid an average yarding at our monthly Pokeiio sale, on Monday, consisting chiefly of calves. Buyers for these wore in attendance, aud, with few exceptions, they changed hands at ruling prices There was an average yerding of stock, for the time of the year, at Kuucimau on Tuesday, and price;! were on a par with those ruling at other centres Dairy cows aua heifer.-, £8 10s:o£l5 10s; empty cows, i's loi -o £8 5h ; fat ows and heifers, £8 lOsto £l3 7s 6d; two and 2J)*tu old-steers, £7 10s to £9; ymailing to 18 month steers, £5 to £6 12* 6d; heifers, same age, £4 10s to £6 15s ; calves, best, £2 5s to £3 3s; smaller, £1 10s to £2 Is; •mall and w-ody, 10s to 235; bulls. £5 to £ls 10s
