RANGIRIRI
The annual Rangiriri regatta was held last Saturday. The attendance was very large, and numbered about 1,500. The nominations were numerous, and the finishes were evenly . contested in every event Tfceparade of all contestants provided a very striking picture. Greasy pole-Kano and Wairiki J dead heated. . Launch race, 10 yards and under —Cygnet, 1; Rita, 2. Launch race, G knots and under— Kiti, 1; Rotonijaro, 2. Horse swimming race—Randell, 1; Wilson 2 Swimming race—Barris, 1; Tomai H 2.
