MAUKU

So far the Mauku district has got through the influenza epidemic very lightly. There have probably not been more than twenty cases in Mauku and Patumahoe combined, most of them beiDg of a very mild type. Four or five of the earliest cases seem to have been the most sereve. Mr D. A Ward has been dispensing the Health Department's remedies daily at the Mauku school, but by now most of the local wants are supplied and demands have fallen off accordingly.
