Bombay has been sev&rely stricken with the iiifluenzi scourge, and hardly a house in this district has escaped ihe maliidy. Even whole families have been prostrate at one time Things are, however, now improving, but it has been found advisable to rfnviVe some of the more serious cases to' the temporary hospital at Putu&nhe Miiking hatbeen caried on with difficulty, but co operation of neighbours, who were well enougjt to assist, has resulted in due attention being paid to th< herds. The death took place (fr< m influ enza pne'umonia) last evening, at the Pukefcphe temporary hospital of Mrs Allisof), wife of Mr Samuel Allison, of Bombay The bereaved husband an 4 one of the children (■» girl) are ako sufiering, and are inmates of the hospital
