KILLED IN ACTION Lauer, T. fCpl), November 4th—F. Lauer, Pukekohe (f). Corporal "Tony" Lauer is the second of Mr F. Lauer's sons to make the supreme sacrifice, his elder brother, Sergeant William Lauer, having been killed in action on October 23rd last. Another brother Private George Lauer, enlisted vith the Main Body but returned invalided some months ago. " Pony '* was a general favourite all around Pukekohe and like his brothers he was a thorough sportsman, having been a member of the Pukekohe Suburban Tennis and Football Clubs
