ONEWHERO.

At the Pukekohe Magistrate's Court last Thursday the Defence Department, who were represented by Lieut. Hatt (Pukekohe), proceeded against a youth, a late resident of Onewhero, for failing to parade with Senior Cadets at drill at Onewhero on August 26th. Defendant, who did not appear, forwarded a letter stating that prior to August 26th he had left Onewhero. He admitted, however, that he had not notified his change of address. According to Lieut Hatt, defendant was now re-s-iding at Ponsonby, and was duly attending drill in Auckland. He was convicted and ordered to pay court costs 7s
