Bifleman 8. G. Collins, son of Mr John Collins, of Tuakau, who returned home invalided recently after being over two years on active service, has received his discharge from the Army. At the Thames a few days ago he was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Miss Hizel Dufty.
Mr Dynes Fulton has expressed bia in bility to fall in wih 'he wishes of his fellow members of tka Town Board that he should reconsider his decision to resign his chairmanship and membership of the Board, The appointment of another chairman will accordingly be made at a special meeting to be held to-night and a by-election will be necessitated to fill the vacancy on the Board
