WAIAU PA

A large company of residents assembled in the Waiah Pah Public Hall, last Thursday evening, at a social held as a " welcome home" to Troopers R. S. Owen and E. Harnet, who nave recently returned from the Front. Dancing was gaily indulged in and Mi J. W. McLarin, on behalf of the residents, spoke a few words of greeting to " the boys." The new public library is well under way and should be open in th# course of a week or so. A good and wide range for books has already been purchased for the benefit of übscribers to the library.
