PAPAKURA'S PROGRESS. [To THE EdITObJ. Sir, —I read ' with some interest your sub leader in your issue of the 11th instant re above. I have also read in your issue of the 14th mat the letter by R. W Mears who proves himself to know little if anything about the proposed boundary extepsion. 1 think the opposition is solely due to the fact of the bowling green not being included. Three yaers ago six inches of your space were sufficient to report on or* dinaiy monthly meeting of the Papakura Town Board. I notice in your last iss-ue you devoted two columns to the report of tbe Board's meeting. Does ilie diffemce represent the progress made in three yeare ? Ido dot agree with the preseut Board's wbol<> policy, but I consider it the b«~8t Board Papakura has had during this last ten years. —Your?, etc., " Candidate hext Settembkk."
