WOMEN'S PATRIOTIC LEAGUE
The Drury-Rnnciman branch of the Women's Patriotic League at their last meeting had a fairly good attendance, MrsT. Brooks providing the afternoon tea.
The following goods were handed io : -100 pairs socks, 8 helmet caps and one pair bed socks worked by the undermentioned, viz. : Sox by Mesdames Strong and Morrison 8 pairs each, Mi Murtrie 7 pairs, John Blake and Glasson senr. 6 pairs each, Api'leby 5 paiis, .Barclay, W. Bremner 4 pairs each, McNaughton and Fyfe 3 pairs each, Robson, W. B. C Glißson, Smallfield 2 pairs each, Hill, James Blake, T. Brooks, W. Brooke, Pemberton, Hewlett, 1 pair each, Misses Elsie Morrison 8 pairs, Madge Morrison 7 pairs, Mavis Morrison 5 pairs, McPherson 4 pairs, Gird wo m) 3 pairs, P. Cossey 2 pairs, A. Morrison, G. Cossey, Smallfield, N. Hill, Rugg one pair each; helmet «-;ips by Mesdames McMurtrie and i. Dickson four each; and bed sock* by Mrs J. Dickson, one pair.
