FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL MAIORO TOP ROAD DEVIATION SPECIAL RATING AREA LOAN OF £350, NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Franklin County Council, held on Thursday, the 11th day of April, 1918, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Monthly Meeting of the Council, to be held on Friday, the seventh day of June, 1918, at 9.30 am. at the County Office, Hall Street, Pukekohe. RESOLUTION: In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 1G of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Maioro Top Road Deviation Special Rating Area in Waipipi Riding of Franklin County, hereinafter described, testified by a pptition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said Special Rating Area, the capital values of whose properties as appearing in the valuation roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Franklin County Council hereby resolves, by way of Special Order, as follows " For the purpose of the survey, legalisation, formation, and metalling of a deviation on Maioro Top Road, Waipipi Riding, Franklin County, the Franklin County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £350 at 4} per centum per annum, for a period of 3G$ years and declares that the cost of raising the said loan and the first year's interest on the loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised."
