CLEVEDON.
The Clevedon Agent for " the Times" is Mr W. H. Collett, from whom copies of the pap< r may he obtained. The Clevedon Lawn Tennis Club held a very successful dance in the public hall, Clevedon, on Friday, May 24th. The hall was tastefully decorated with flags, tennis nets, racquets and greenery. The ladies of the Club provided an excellent supper. The colour scheme in the table decorations (mina tobita and autumn leaves), represeLt ng the Cluh's col 'urs, maroon and gold, was prettily arranged by Miss B. Browne. The music was supplied by the Dennis Orchestra—Mrs Dennis, Miss D. Dow, Miss Owen Dennis, and MrT Hyde (violins), Miss Clara ITyde (piano) and Miss Dorothy Df>ni is (mandoline) —Mrs McNicol, Mrs Stephens, Mrs Gandy, Mrs Hitchcock, Misses Waters, Stephens, and Ethel Munro. The duties of M O'B were satisfactorily carried out bv Messrs A. Alexander and T. Hyde. Mr W Hyde, in a neat speech, announced that the proceeds which amounted tc £7 lfts would he divided between the Bed Cross and Girl's Bandage Class funds The singing of the National Anthem brought the evening to a close.
