PAPAKURA.

A team from the Auckland Senior Cadets Cricket Association are to visit Papakura to-morrow (Good Friday) to play against the Papakura club. A reminder is given of the sports meeting to be held on the Bail way Reserve on Easter Monday. The gathering promises to be highly successful in everv way and should attract a good attendance. Mr P. H. Holt last week visited Wellington on behalf of the Papakura Town Board in furtherance of the proposed extension of the Town Board area and as a result definite arrangements were made for the scheme to be carried through and to be duly gazetted. Several deals in property have lately been effected in Papakura and it is evident that land in the Papakura district is in good demand.
