PUKEKOHE ROD AND GUN CLUB.
At the annual meeting of the Pukekohe Rod and Gun Club held on Saturday evening last there were present Messrs C. K. Lawrie [chairman), A. P. Daysh. J. Reynolds, J. Blake, R. Fitness, J Massey, Walter Wright, W. MeNally and the Secretary Mr J. Wright. The repoit and balance sheet for the year was adopted, the latter recording a credit balance of £■"> •'« '> 1.
The question of disbandment was discussed, but it was ultimately decided to continue the club at a subsciip'ion of os to existing members and 7s (id to new members, Messrs J. Dent and 11. A. Corbett were elected members. It was resolved to renew the club's afliliatiou with the N X. Gun Club Aesocimion and also with the Auckland Acclimatisation Society A petition forwarded by the Auckland Acclimatisation Society advocating that Atlantic salmon i-hould be introduced into the small rivulets running into Lake Taupo v»as signed by various members for submission to the Minister of Internal Affairs Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows : —President, Mr C. K Lawrie; vice - Messrs R. Fulton, J. Keunelly, Ivau Motion, C. Potter, Walter Wright, H. Lysnar and W. Wright; Executive, Messrs J. Wright, R. Fitness, j. Kennelly, J. Reynolds, J. McNally and R. McGough. Messrs J. Wright and A. F. Brown were re-elected Secretary and Auditor j reapectively.
