WAIAU PA

The funeral of the late Mr Joseph Clark, whose death at a private hospital in Auckland, was recorded in our last issue, took place on Saturday at Waiau. tho new cemetery being used for the first time for the internment. The body was conveyed from Auckland by rail to Pukekohe station, whence the funeral procession left for Waiau. There was a very large gathering of sympathisers present from all round the district. The Bev 8. Nixon officiated, assisted by the Bev C. Budd, of Devonport.
