SCHOOL PICNIC The annual school picnic was held on Thursday, Feb. 14th, and a thoroughly enjoyable day was spent. Sports were engaged in and every child received a prize. Dinner and afternoon tea was supplied by ladies of the district. In the races for adults the following were the results, viz.: Married ladies: Mrs Gifford 1, Mrs D. Clark 2.
Single ladies: Miss G. Clark 1, Miss I). Rose 2 Girls': Miss P. McLarin 1, Miss 0. Evans 2.
Ladies potatoes race: Mrs Wansbone 1, M"rs H. A. Maloney 2. Obstacle race, final: J. J. Robinson 1, W. Robinson 2. High jump: Mellin 1, J W McLarin 2.
