PAPAKURA.
The Eev W. 0. Wood delivered his second address on "The War, The Cross of the Nations " last Sunday evening, to a large congregation. Mr Wood draws on the crucifixion of Christ in a very striking study of the moral and spiritual aspects of the war. The subject will be continued next Sunday evening, when the rev gentleman will speak on " The War and its Appeal to the Nations." An inspection of the site at Symonds stream, Opaheke, which, it is suggested,, should be secured as a source of water supply for Papakura, is to be made on Wednesday next by members of the Town Board, accompanied by various residents.
