Favoured with fine weather the Methodist Bunday School* held their annual picnic on Wednesday last at Whfte's Parm, Pukaki,' the scholars and friends being conveyed there by motor buses and brakes In addftiosr to the Supeuntendent (Mr A. Trenwith) and teachers associated with the school* a large . company took advantage of the occasion and foiled the party. Games and various forma of amusements were provided during the day and after tee, which was serves? „by many wrffing workers, the party returned to Otahuhu ' Altogether the picnic was a success and the organisers desire to express their appreciation , of the help rendered by so many . on behalf of the School. . ■ jr. Mr Fred Hunter, son of Mr J: Hunter, of Otahuhu, who is on the Believing staff of ths Poet Office, starts for the Bay of Islands- district ofr relief duties at various Post Ofices, his engagements extending for at least, twelve months.
