PTE. WM. EASTON FAREWELLED One of the most successful socials of the season was that held last week in honour of Pte. W. Easton, of the 33rd Reinforcements who was home on final leave Dancing commenced at 8.30 p m the hall being well filled, large numbers of friends attending from the surrounding districts. Messrs T. Hamilton (Tuhimata) and J. Glennie (Pukekohe East) on behalf of their respective districts wished the guest of the evening a safe journey and a speedy return. Pto Easton in a few suitable words thanked the company for their good wishes. Messrs 0. Lauer and W. Reynolds acted us M.C.'s in a very capable manner. The music supplied by Mr Payne was much appreciated.
