FANCY I >BESS BALL There was a crowded attendance at the fancy dress hall held at Richardson's Picture Hall on Tuesday last as the final of the Assembly dances for the season. Messrs Phillips and Tuely carried out the dutii s of M.C.'s satisfactorily and the mu*ic was supplied by Mrs Whitford aud Miss Barker. The fancy dresses were the subject of a good deal of favourable comment and the prize winners, decided by popular vot<\ were Ladies : Miss Lacassio France). Men : Messrs W. Sutherland (lady), If.
