FRANKLIN COUNTY FINANCE
The following report as to the County Finance was submitted by the Clerk (Mr Alan P. Day) at last Thursday's meeting of the Franklin County Council, viz: County Fund Account: The overdraft at the National Bank is £11,914 15s 9d, transfer from loan account and cash on hand due to this account amount to £350. The accounts now due and payable from this account amount to £ 1212 His Od made up as follows: General (including crusher, plant, etc.) £275 10s lOd, Awhitu riding £77 15s Bd, Drury £139 13s Bd, Hunua £ll2 9s Id, Mauku£7l 17s Id, Mercer £4l 3s 7d, Pukekoho £Ol 10s 7d, Waipipi £132 Ids lOd, Waiuku £46 15s 3d, Government grant £49 3s 7d, Interest Accounts £lB3 10s 7d, Contractors deposits £l7 9s. Loan accounts : The following are the credit balances on the various loan accounts : II ill District No. 2 loan £B3 Is 91, Tlunua riding roads loan £.ll Oh 9(1, Pratt's Hill deviation loan £229 5s 7d, Needles wharf loan £2O 18s 3d, Brown's road (Tuakau) loan £lB7 12s 2d, llogwood's deviation (Waiau) loan £0 los Bd, Jamiesoii's road (liuckland) loan £sl, Arrowsville road (Aka Aka) loan £589 13s Od, Moumoukai road loan £390 7s 3d.
