The disfigurement of the streets of Otahuhu by paper and refuse being allowed to lie about was referred to by Cr Brady at last Thursday's meeting of the Borough Council and it was decided that two more baskets as receptacles for " waste" should be erected in tho main street. The Foreman of Works was also authorised to see that the by-law prohibiting tho deposit of paper and other refuse in tho streets was enforced.
