FRANKLIN COUNTY FINANCE.
At the meeting of the Franklin County Council, held last Thursday, the Clerk (Mr Alan P. Day) reported as follows. — County Fund Account: The total debit balance is £9228 16% 4d, and the accounts payable amount to £1515 2s 2d, made up as follows: General (including crushing plant, etc., accounts) £442 14s 9d; Awhitu Biding, £lO5 6s 7d; Drury Biding, £B9 7s 2d; Hunua Biding, £247 9s 3d; Mauku Biding, £147 17s2d; Mercer Biding, £OS 18s 8d; Pukekohe Biding, £BB 18s lOd; Waipipi Biding, £123 14s 3d; Waiuku Biding, £122 13s; Contractors' [deposits, £ls; Land fund, £9 18s; Government grants, £2 4s Gd; Interests accounts, £54; total, £1515 2s 2d. LOAN ACCOUNTS The following are the credit Bank balances on Various loans at this date, viz.:—Hill district (No 2) loan, £B3 Is 9d; Hunua Biding roads loan, £3l 6s 9d; Pratt's hill deviation loan, £261 14s 4d; Needles wharf loan, £2O 18s 3d; Brown's road loan, £IBB 2s 2d; Hog wood's deviation loan, £l3 8s sd; Jamieson's road loan, £100; Arrowsville road deviation loan, £IOOO. The report was adopted.
