Advice was received by Mr F. Langfor 1 last week to the effect that his son "Jim," who left with the 24th Roinforcemonts, was in hospital in France, suffeiing from a neivous breakdown. Mr Morrison also has been notified that his son " Selwyn," who left with the 28th Reinforcement had been put off at a " port of call," seriously ill with pneumonia. Much sympathy is felt for both families, who made great sacrifices to allow their only b >ys to go and help in this great cause. A parcel of pyjamas, etc., was despatched to tho Victoria League last week, the Guild members having undertaken tins work.
