I do not intend to enter further into the controversy, but I did not think it fair to sit quiet and let these unkind assertions against the honesty and integrity of reputable mmi and women, who lave been working hard since the outbreak of the war at Patriotic work, go iiiuhallenged Unfortunately we will always have the croaker element in every com munity but it is poor spite to decry one's d'stiict before the public for the sake of airing personal grievances, I am, etc..
