PAPAKURA
A very pleasing ceremony took place at Papakura School last Friday afternoon when Mr A. L Hutton, who is leaving for camp, was presented by Miss Westwood, on behalf of the teaching-staff, with a man's " housewife " and some other useful articles as a token of the esteem in which he was held. In making the presentation reference was made to Mr Hutton's genial good nature and his willingness to assist in all matters pertaining to the welfare of the school. The roll number of Papakura School is now 290, and the building is greatly overcrowded.
