ARARIMU
Still another of tho "boys" of Araiimu was farcwelled on Monday evening, the 25th nit., when Mr F. Barker was entertained at a social by his many fiiends, and was presented with a sifety razor and strop prior to his departure on the 2*th ult. for the training camp as a member of tho :52nd draft. An improvement iu postal matters has just been effected, tho rural delivery system having been established for tin benefit of a number of settler# between the Rama Kama and Araiimu post ollices. This, as well as a boon to settlers, should greatly increase the postal business of the district, and if the people are wise and make it a point to son d all mail matter through their own mail, instead of by ca-u:it messengers to post outside, the district may soon be entitled to a try-weekly service.
