The Bed Cross Concert to be held iu ft. John'B Church was referred to in our last issue as for to-night (Tuesday) whereas it is to take place next Thursday evening. On Satuiday last the local football tram journeyed to Manurewa and played a return mateh against the Manurewa team. Torrents of rain fell during play and it soon became iirpossible to handle the ball. Conthe game was a very poor exhibition from a spectators' point of view. Manurevra were much the b tier team on the day and defeated I'apatoetoe by 19 points to nil
