At the Waikato Winter Show last week Messrs H. S. Valentine & Co. gained two first and two second prizes for bread and also secured the prize for the most points in the bakery section. A reminder is given of the sale by auction of cottage property at Mercer to be held at Ipm. on Thursday next on behalf of the Waikato Co-op Dairy Company by Messrs J. T. Stembridge and Co., and also of the sale of furniture on behalf of Mr Clifford to be conducted by the same firm at 1 30 p.m. on Thursday at the post office residence. For particulars see advts.
