(See also page 1.) DEATH OF MRS E. ALIAN.
After an illness patiently home extending over more than a jear Mrs Allan, wife of Mr E. Allan, the well-known local seedsman, passed peacefully away at her residence in Buckland yesterday morning. The deceased lady, who was 58 j'ears of age, had a large circle of friends and was held iu the highest esteem by all. She was a most ardent Churchworker and for many years acted as conductor of the NVesleyan Church Choir, only surrendering such duties by reason of fai'ing health some twelve months ago She isj survived by her husband and a family of four daughters, to whom general sympathy is extended in their sad bereavement.
